Claudia's story was always a sad story of eternal frustration. A Child vampire, never able to grow to the adult her mind became. Specially devious and cruel intelligence, it's really no surprise her bitterness over her child's body grew to the point it did.
Claudia's story shows us the same story we read/saw in Interview with a vampire but from the perspective of Lestat and Louis's vampire doll child.
