My friend Kates little sister is travelling to Cambodia to help out. Kate herself does lots of commendable work and its good to see that it runs in the familyTwo Proserpine Hospital midwives, Emily Holmes and Lyn Brett, will be travelling to Cambodia on 13 April for four weeks to conduct volunteer work in the birthing centres, whilst living with the local villagers. Emily and Lyn have paid for their own expenses but are seeking donations to assist in purchasing much need medical equipment and supplies. They will be taking as many supplies as possible a...nd are hoping to purchase a foetal doppler to take with them. A Tuk Tuk Ambulance, which they hope to buy in Cambodia, is also on their wish list.
